Synopsis:
Humberto Pérez-Tomé has been fly fishing for more than 15 years. Previously, like most current flycatchers, he fished with a spoon and bulldozer, a style to which he has not returned again after entering the hobby of rat tail fishing.
His evolution in fishing has led him to consider fishing without death as a lifestyle and an environmental necessity if we want this sporting hobby to continue practicing for many other days in the future.
In the author's opinion, fishing without death should be an educated concept, not just imposed. But the effort to fish without death would be sterile if it were not accompanied by a zealous care for the environment, river beds, its microinvertebrate fauna and riverine flora. That is why for the author and his collaborators it is so important to fish in the best and healthiest river conditions.
