The ATX is still available today and offers a fully balanced first and second stage with cold water capability (can be used at all temperatures, including below 10C / 50F).

This high performance regulator features an overbalanced first stage along with a pneumatically balanced second stage. The soft and quiet breathing will improve? your enjoyment of diving. Suitable for use in cold water thanks to its first stage environmental dry gasket and second stage heat exchanger. Compatible with EAN40 right out of the box.

First stage

Utilizes DS4 first stage Unique Overbalanced Diaphragm Design - As the diver descends, the overbalance feature allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to rise at a faster rate than ambient . The result is superior performance at depth. 1 HP port and 4 MP ports are available. An environmental sealing system keeps water out of the main dock chamber thus preventing water damage. the formation of ice and the entry of sediments and contamination. Available in DIN and BRACKET.

Second stage

The pneumatically balanced second stage provides smooth, easy breathing. The ATX's large bleed button is easy to operate even with thick gloves. Integrated Venturi adjustment provides a performance boost in depth, while preventing unwanted free flow at the surface. An extremely efficient exhaust valve improves the breathing performance of the regulator. The Comfo-bite? virtually eliminates jaw fatigue. A (patented) heat exchanger surrounding the valve mechanism dissipates cold caused by gas expansion while drawing heat from ambient water. Offers a compact, integrated exhaust tee.
