The Muela BX8 knife has a stainless Damascus steel blade, forged using two kinds of powder metallurgical steel (RWL34 and PMC27) and joined together at 1150 °C and a pressure of 1.00 atmospheres, thanks to this process a steel of a resistance twice as high at break as well as double the fatigue strength, ductility and impact toughness; in addition to an exceptional beauty in its engraving.
