Regulator Scubapro MK25 EVO/ A700 Carbon Black Tech

The Scubapro MK25 EVO/ A700 Carbon Black Tech Regulator features the Black Tech coating, which protects both stages from salt water and corrosion. It includes an inner layer of chemical nickel (FDA approved), and an outer shiny DLC (diamond-like carbon) finish, very resistant to scratches.

MK25 first stage:

• Flow-compensated piston: Made of nickel-plated brass, with a shiny DLC (diamond-like carbon) exterior finish , it allows constant and effortless air intake at any depth, tank pressure or respiratory rate.
• XTIS, Increased Thermal Insulation System: Thermally protects the internal mechanical components, increasing resistance to freezing by 30% and delaying the formation of ice, without affecting respiratory performance.
• Essential components of the insulation system: Shown in blue.
• 2 High Pressure Outlets: Allow the first stage to be placed up or down.
• 4 Low Pressure Outlets: On the rotating turret, one high flow and one axial very high flow, maximize hose orientation options.
• Adjustable intermediate pressure: From the outside.
• Version: INT 3364 psi/232 bar.
• Flow Rate: At 2900 psi/200 bar: (l/min/SCFM): >8500/301.
• Intermediate pressure (psi/bar): 130-142/9.0-9.8.

Second stage A700:

• Compensated valve: Reduces inspiratory effort at any depth and pressure.
• Black Tech DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) Coating on Metal Body: Provides scratch resistance and a gloss black finish.
• New front cover, made by hand in carbon fiber: Resistant to shocks, and weighs 32 grams (compared to the conventional metal cover), for greater comfort and less fatigue of the jaw.
• Inhalation effort control knob and coaxial flow VIVA (Venturi-Initiated Vacuum Assist) system lever: Adjustable.
• High Flow Hose: Has a larger inner section to increase airflow with each inhalation.
• Orthodontic mouthpiece: Easy to hold, does not reduce airflow, very comfortable.
• Flow rate at 2900 psi/200 bar: 2000 l/min - 71 SCFM.
