The Apeks MTX-R Second Stage is manufactured specifically to face the adversities present in technical diving, these being adverse by nature. It has the technological advantage of being pneumatically balanced , therefore, it is not necessary to make an effort when breathing during the dive.
Technical characteristics:
It features a purge button designed to simplify cleaning the XTX100. This will take place in a slow and controlled manner.
This purge button if fully pressed, activates it. And if it is pushed in slowly, the purge is controlled.
It can be used in cold waters, as it has a heat exchanger. This borders the valve that dissipates the cold around the regulator. In this way, it avoids the accumulation of ice and improves the warm conditions of the air that enters through the nozzle.
It offers comfortable, simple and comforting breathing.
It can be installed in any first stage of quality .
Applied technologies:
It has an interchangeable exhaust: specially designed for demanding divers, with its tailor-made XTX range. By having two exhausts, one is larger to optimize bubble-free space and the second is compact and lightweight.
It comes with a pneumatically balanced design: offering at all times a breath that is constant and avoids any effort. This is maintained even if you run out of air.
Purge system: with a single button when pressed slowly, it offers a controlled purge. And by pressing it all the way down, it offers a quick and complete purge.
It has a large venturi plate: which facilitates its location and can be used at all times, in this way the effort when breathing is controlled.
Opening effort regulator: maximizes breathability during diving activity.
Antibacterial Protection: It has an additive that kills MRSA, protecting against E-Coli bacteria, other bacteria and fungi. Ideal for harsh underwater environments.
