The Sako 85 Synthetic Black hasp rifle offers hunters a version with a completely matte black finish. The barrel, the action and the magazine plate have the same tone as the cylinder head. The cannon is ribbed.
Technical characteristics:
  • TRIGGER: The trigger of the Sako 85 is adjustable from 1 to 2 kg. There is the possibility of the hair trigger option on most Sako 85 rifles. The Sako 85 trigger is protected by an extremely solid steel bridge.
  • INSURANCE: Sako's double safety system locks both the trigger and the bolt lever. The Sako security system allows the loading and unloading of the ammunition housed in the chamber with the safety activated.
  • CHARGER: The Sako two-row charger is made of stainless steel. The magazine is removable and can also be unloaded through the eject window. The TCL (loader with control) of the Sako 85 prevents accidental drops of the charger.
  • ACTION: Sako actions are available in 5 different lengths to offer the best possible performance for each cartridge size. (XS, S, SM, M, L). All Sako 85 models incorporate the RCS (Round Control System) patent whereby jamming or double feeding of ammunition is avoided. The handle of the bolt is at the height of the hand, which allows it to be operated more quickly and intuitively. The Sako lock designed for the natural positioning of the hand during recharging allows ultra-fast (60 °) repetitive discharge.
  • CANNON: All models of the Sako 85 have floating cannons, manufactured by Sako specialists. The barrel is cold hammered, with an individualized finish and inspected by a complex and high precision optical system: the human eye. The stria steps have been chosen for each caliber to optimize the accuracy and performance of the ammunition.
