Tienes que tener en cuenta diversos factores cuando elijas tu bastón:

• TUBO. La calidad del aluminio es la calidad del tubo. Así el aluminio 5083 es ligero, el 5086 es más sólido y ligero y el 6000 el más equilibrado y ligero. También existe el tubo composite que es muy resistente, ligero y muy bien equilibrado.
• EMPUÑADURA. Ha de disponer de un mecanismo que permita la liberación de la muñeca cuando realice esfuerzo hacia arriba (lo cual le podrá salvar de una lesión en caso de caída).
• TALLA. Una buena manera de elegir la talla de su bastón es invirtiéndolo y agarrándolo por debajo de la arandela; tu brazo derecho debe formar un ángulo de ±90º.
