Mannlicher SBS (Safe Bolt System) deadbolt
The SBS deadbolt developed and patented by STEYR MANNLICHER is the safest deadbolt concept in the world. In the event of firing a cartridge with overpressure or if there is an obstruction in the barrel, the user is always protected from possible physical damage that could be caused by gas escape or mechanical breakage.

Waste grooves:
Special grooves made in the bolt body guarantee reliable locking even in extreme conditions of ice or mud.
firing pin:
The back of the needle protrudes from the rear of the bolt when the weapon is cocked, so you have visual and tactile control of the weapon's status.
Bolt closure:
The SBS closure lugs are by design extremely strong and close directly behind the cartridge head on the frame.
Bolt handle:
The bolt handle can be folded and locked on the receiver.
Safety cap:
Only the SBS system uses an additional safety cap that fully encapsulates the lugs and extractor. Consequently the user is fully protected against any gas leaks with overpressured cartridges that can be unknowingly fired.
Insurance with triple system.

• Insurance position. The rifle can be loaded and unloaded, however the trigger is locked
• Fire position. At the moment before firing, turn the wheel forward to the fire position, until marked with a red dot.
• Bolt lock position. It allows folding the bolt handle on the frame and the firing pin is blocked. In triggers with hair, this is automatically deactivated in this position.
