The Xzoga Black Buster Spiral Z is a series designed for slow jigging (slow pitch) with a spinning Reel (baitcasting), something that is immediately apparent from its trigger grip, designed to work jigs vertically with control and to fight safely when the fish presses deep. This is a limited edition range with a clear focus: to offer a reactive, light, fast and very powerful rod, without losing sensitivity.

The blank has been developed with the High Power XVX-Core Shaft system, a technique aimed at improving balance, strength and structural hardness, helping the rod to better transmit the jig's movement and recover quickly after each pull. Xzoga also combines advanced materials and processes (mentioning 99% fiber purity, 3rd generation high modulus carbons and graphite microfibers for the inversion of the carbon spiral) in search of a livelier blank: more response with less fatigue, and a work curve capable of absorbing pulls without losing lifting capacity.

Another key feature is the Python Wire Wrapping finish, a diagonally arranged double cross XVX band that reinforces critical areas of the blank without adding appreciable weight, increasing resistance where it is most needed (vertical battles, leverage, pumping). The series is further refined with the 4 Point Power Transmission Fighting (PTF) Action technique, which distributes the force in a better balance during the fight, improves the feeling of control and increases the lifting power. According to the description itself, the super-thick inner wall contributes to elevate the torque and power to a very high level, which fits with its orientation to hard bottom fish.

Although it was created for slow pitch, it is designed as a very usable rod for other verticals, such as Tai Kabura, Inchiku, Tenya or Zoka Ball type set-ups with natural/live bait, where it is important to have a rod that can withstand constant tension, mark the bite well and have the reserve to lift fish such as grouper, dentex or sama, among others.
