The Kali Kunnan Merrik Rod is a technical and very versatile rod designed for those who enjoy Ultralight Spinning and Rockfishing, modalities in which lure control, sensitivity and lightness make the difference. Its behavior is oriented to work with small artificial lures and thin rigs, allowing more precise fishing when you want to feel the lure's touch and detect subtle bites.

One of its strong points is its reactive tip, which helps bring the lure to life with short, controlled movements. This translates into a more natural presentation of micro jigs and light soft plastic lures, as well as a better reading of what is happening on the other side of the line (stone rubbing, depth changes, shy touches). On the strike, this quick response provides a plus to react in time without losing finesse, which is especially useful with small or very wary fish.

The blank is made of High Quality Carbon, a material that provides a much sought-after combination in UL: low weight, good sensitivity and recovery capacity (the rod returns quickly to its position after the cast). In practice, this results in a lively rod feel: it facilitates repetitive casts without fatigue, improves control during animation and helps maintain tension in the fight without making the rig feel clumsy.

For rigging, it incorporates ultralight graphite Reel Holders, which keep the assembly light and contribute to a balanced rig with small Reels. The black EVA foam handle offers a comfortable and secure grip, even with wet hands, and is suitable for long days on shore or in port. As for the rings, the Merrik is equipped with Fuji rings (monopod, O series according to the specifications), designed to promote a smooth line passage and improve casting with thin diameters (mono/fluff or light braids), reducing typical tangling problems and helping to get meters when fishing with little weight.

As a practical detail, it includes a cloth cover, useful for transport and to protect the Rod in the car or with the rest of the equipment.
