Savage 11 Lady Hunter Bolt Action Rifle
The Lady Hunter, a model of the 110 series, is a short-action rifle specifically designed for hunters. It has been manufactured after consultation with female hunters to find out how to make the perfect weapon for them. It is ergonomically designed with women's morphology in mind. It has options in several calibers.
The walnut stock has an oiled finish and features a custom style checkering on the grip and handguard. It is a shorter stock, due to the reduction of the shoulder to trigger distance from the usual 14 (355 mm) - 14.5 (368 mm) to 12.5 (317 mm). The pistol grip angulation has also changed and the stock thickness has been reduced in the hand contact areas, considering that female hands tend to be smaller. It is a light and compact rifle, weighing only 2.72 kg and having a total length of 1 meter.
The weight distribution manages to keep the weight of the rifle at the shoulder end of the stock, where it can be handled more comfortably. Its light weight causes increased recoil, which is combated by the incorporation of a specially padded and thick butt pad with a specific angle. The buttstock also has a sloped and higher cheekpiece, due to the tendency of women to have longer necks.
The sporting barrel is made of carbon steel, has a light contour and has a length of 20 (508 mm). It is rifled according to the button rifling technique, in which this brand has great experience, hence its good accuracy. It is attached to the action by means of a nut, which guarantees an extremely precise headspace, which also plays a part in its renowned accuracy.
The action in this case is lightened for the sake of weight reduction. It has a two-bolt, floating-head bolt, which allows for precise adjustment during locking and allows the bolt face to have full contact with the entire cartridge head. Yet another aspect that makes these rifles so accurate.
Incorporates the ACCUTRIGGER ACCUTRIGGER firing system. Its trigger tail safety and weight regulator capability, from 1.5 lbs (0.680 kg) to 6 lbs (2.72 kg), is a quality that will allow for the lightest customization without fear of accidental firing. In addition, its ultra-short ultra-short travel and glass rod-like breakage are two other qualities of this trigger.
The trigger safety is complemented by a manual safety located behind the action that ensures ambidextrous access. It has three positions, safe position where bolt and trigger are locked; partially safe position, where the bolt can be operated, but the trigger is locked; and finally fire position, where bolt and trigger can be activated, in this last position there is a visual indication of a red dot.

When the word Rifle is used, anyone, including a non-expert, evokes a classic Mauser bolt-action rifle of military type. We could say that it is the current rifle par excellence, it is the most used in any hunting modality, the most universal for its variety of calibers, weights, sizes, finishes, applications, manufacturers and prices.
It is a repeating rifle, that is to say a rifle that allows repeating the shot whose action consists of a bolt that, manually operated by a rotation and thrust movement, captures the cartridge from the magazine and introduces it into the chamber "locking it" (closing it), arms the punch or needle, to subsequently allow the shot to be fired.
The mechanism of the bolt can be variable, currently there are bolts with axial action without apparent rotation. The ammunition magazine admits a variable number of cartridges, usually 5 for non-Magnum calibers and 3 or 4 for the latter. Some models allow the use of a detachable magazine.
Repetition should never be confused with automatism.
They are the most accurate rifles and the simplest to build.
In some models, barrels of different caliber can be interchanged, in which case the long action group (Magnum calibers) and the short action group (Magnum calibers) are compatible.
Advantages
- It is the most robust and reliable of all
- High ballistic accuracy (unmatched by other repeating systems)
- The extraction and reloading mechanisms provide total operational safety
- It is slow firing, making it difficult to shoot quickly and fluently
- It is too large for long days of hunting on foot
- The manual action of the bolt unholsters the weapon at each shot, which forces the hunter to retake the aiming elements and means a loss of time that can be crucial in the second shot
- BIG HUNTING RIFLE
Para the purchase of a rifle requires a copy of the ID card and LONG GUN RIFLE PERMIT (D).
