Savage 110 Tactical AICS Bolt Action Rifle
Rifle of the Savage 110 series, which has a large number of versions and models to meet the needs of every shooter. The Tactical model is an optimized version for shooting and tactical use. It is characterized by its great value for money and its versatility and competitiveness. The main features are detailed below.
It includes an injection-molded synthetic stock with textured areas on both the handguard and the pistol grip. It provides a very comfortable and soft grip and integrates the AccuFit system, which allows users to modify the length of the stock (4 different spacers) and the height of the cheekpiece (up to 5 different cheekpieces). The stock is topped by a very soft butt pad that optimally absorbs recoil.
The barrel is made of fluted steel, which reduces weight and increases heat dissipation. It has a length of 610mm and the tip integrates a thread with a 5/8 24" thread pitch and protected by a metal thread cover. The barrel is rifled using the button rifling technique, which provides great precision.
Attached to the barrel is the well-known SAVAGE action, with rounded shapes, since it is machined from a round bar, in this case also made of carbon steel. The bolt has a floating head with two lugs, which allows precise adjustment during locking and allows the bolt face to make full contact with the entire cartridge head. To facilitate and accelerate bolt locking, the handle has an oversized tactical knob with several knurled bands. The stock comes standard with an EGW Picatinny rail made of aluminum with 20 MOAs for the attachment of a scope.
Regarding the Accutriger trigger, this is one of the most used models on the market and has a very good performance and a tight travel. It achieves a very crisp shot and is visually characterized by the safety tab that shows the trigger. Being of one time its behavior seems to be of two, due to its safety in the tail of the trigger. It is possible to regulate it from 0.680 kg (1.5 pounds) to 2.72 kg (6 pounds).
The trigger safety also has a manual safety that is located behind the action, ensuring its use by left-handed shooters. It has up to three positions: locking, where the bolt can operate with the latch locked, and the fire position. The firing position is indicated visually with a red dot.
Being a rifle with a tactical and long distance designation, it integrates an Accustock aluminum bed that integrates rails embedded inside the stock. The entire 110 series has bolts for the rings of the rifle's belt loops. In addition, it comes with an AICS compatible polymer magazine that holds up to 10 rounds.

When the word Rifle is used, anyone, including a non-expert, evokes a classic Mauser bolt-action rifle of military type. We could say that it is the current rifle par excellence, it is the most used in any hunting modality, the most universal for its variety of calibers, weights, sizes, finishes, applications, manufacturers and prices.
It is a repeating rifle, that is to say a rifle that allows repeating the shot whose action consists of a bolt that, manually operated by a rotation and thrust movement, captures the cartridge from the magazine and introduces it into the chamber "locking it" (closing it), arms the punch or needle, to subsequently allow the shot to be fired.
The mechanism of the bolt can be variable, currently there are bolts with axial action without apparent rotation. The ammunition magazine admits a variable number of cartridges, usually 5 for non-Magnum calibers and 3 or 4 for the latter. Some models allow the use of a detachable magazine.
Repetition should never be confused with automatism.
They are the most accurate rifles and the simplest to build.
In some models, barrels of different caliber can be interchanged, in which case the long action group (Magnum calibers) and the short action group (Magnum calibers) are compatible.
Advantages
- It is the most robust and reliable of all
- High ballistic accuracy (unmatched by other repeating systems)
- The extraction and reloading mechanisms provide total operational safety
- It is slow firing, making it difficult to shoot quickly and fluently
- It is too large for long days of hunting on foot
- The manual action of the bolt unholsters the weapon at each shot, which forces the hunter to retake the aiming elements and means a loss of time that can be crucial in the second shot
- BIG HUNTING RIFLE
Para the purchase of a rifle requires a copy of the ID card and LONG GUN RIFLE PERMIT (D).
