- The frame material is magnesium, which makes them strong and resistant, but not excessively heavy.
- They have the protection technology for the lenses, called "EXO Barrier". It is a coating developed by Bushnell, which molecularly bonds to the lens and fills in the microscopic pores in the glass. The result is an ultra slippery coating that repels water, oil, fog, dust and other particles. Neither will rain, snow, fingerprints and dirt stick. Logically, this treatment also helps to keep the binoculars clean and therefore will allow you to maintain sharp vision even with intense use.
- Extra-low dispersion (ED) Prime Glass lenses and the use of a dielectric coating for the prisms. The light transmission of the BaK-4 type prism is improved by using this type of coating, instead of a metallic mirror coating. This causes its surfaces to act as a dielectric mirror. Dielectric prisms produce high reflectivity, great colour, amazing resolution and fantastic detail, even in the twilight hours. Likewise, they allow a light transmission of 92% generating brilliant images.
