The fin strips Cressi EBS have an essential, hydrodynamic design, adaptable to all models Cressi, with a novel self-regulating strip made of high elasticity pure latex. Latex is the most elastic material in nature and has the property of being able to elongate up to 8 times its length without breaking and with total elastic memory, that is, recovering the initial length. Applied to the fin strip, it gives us enormous advantages:
- It allows a comfortable ratio of placement vs. fin fixation, far above spring systems, precisely because of its high elastic coefficient (X8 versus X1,5 of the spring).
- It eliminates the cumbersome need for regulation of traditional buckles, a process that does not always guarantee the correct fixing of the heel, especially in novice divers or situations of harshly stress the equipment process.
- It allows, while maintaining the comfort of the fin, a high level of pressure on the heel essential to achieve a correct transmission of the energy applied to the fin without loss of energy by spring effect. This is undoubtedly the most important feature since an excessively soft, long or no elastic memory strip drastically reduces fin efficiency.
- It assimilates the crushing of the scarp neoprene by descending and compressing the neoprene without loss of fixation.
- It is easily replaceable and essential both conceptually and in its manufacture and assembly.
- The natural latex used is of the highest quality with no load affecting its performance and guarantees a high resistance to wear, salt and sun exposure.
- Suitable for all models Cressi, either with traditional nipple type hook (Frog, Master Frog, Prolight) or rotary bayonet (Rondine A, Reaction, Frog Plus)
