Regulator Pack Aqualung Legend Elite Pack

The Aqualung Legend Elite Pack Regulator Pack combines years of research and experience that Aqualung has accumulated in the manufacture of regulators. This model, the company's flagship, is the generation of the legendary Legend model.

The pack is composed of:

Characteristic

First stage

• When the first stage is not connected to the cylinder valve, the Self Closing Mechanism (ACD) keeps the suction valve closed to protect the internals of the first stage from contamination and corrosive water. Preserves internal lubrication. Keeps the suction valve filter clean and dry. Safer for high oxygen percentages.
• Exceptional cold water performance achieved thanks to three modern Aqua Lung anti-freeze properties. T he LEG3ND's integrated dry chamber keeps internal components clean and dry by isolating them from the outside. Deep lines create a surface area for heat exchange that helps prevent icing of the mechanism (+30% vs Glacia / +70% vs Legend 2). The overmolded plug retards ice formation on the outer diaphragm.
• Autocompensated (also called overcompensated).
• The working pressure is progressively increased to maintain optimal breathing: depending on the depth of the diver, the working pressure of the first stage automatically rises to counteract the increasing density of the air being breathed.
• Ergonomic Stirrup and DIN Screws are made from a dual 'soft grip' material to provide a better hold when installing or removing the first stage – especially with cold hands.
• The stamped stirrup screw prevents water retention.
• The dedicated ACD protection cap is attached to the regulator body to protect the suction valve and ACD system from impact damage.
• The HP and MP ports are perfectly positioned to provide optimal cuff routing.

Second stage

• New opening channels with front cover allow water to flow sideways over the diaphragm
• Radial openings prevent continuous flows while diving in strong currents
• Wider openings to reduce peak respiratory flow by an impressive 20%.
• The new overmolded purge cover is made of elastomer with a soft touch effect.
